Elite

Elite

If you have ambitions to be among the fastest men or women on the course, you should join the ELITE start group.

There are extra requirements for elite runners. All elite runners must:

  • Complete all obstacles
  • Make it through without help from others

If you participate as an elite runner and cannot complete an obstacle, you are allowed to continue and complete the race. However, you lose the opportunity to get a placement, podium finish or prize.

If you think the above sounds a bit too ambitious, you can sign up for "Heat 1" instead. This is the first group to be sent out after the elite, so there's plenty of opportunity to run fast and avoid queues at the obstacles.

Timetable

Elite briefing takes place online on Friday 16 at 19:00. It will take place on Facebook in this event. It will be possible to replay the video afterwards.

Saturday: 10:00 - 10:30: the elite will be sent off in smaller groups

How do you become an elite runner?

When you buy your ticket, simply register for the elite heat. Nothing is required prior to your registration. However, we expect you to be in good shape and have an ambition to run for a good ranking.

As places are limited, everyone who signs up for the elite heat must be approved by us.

If you can run 5 km in under half an hour and can do 5-10 pull ups, you have a good chance of being approved.

If your registration is not approved, you will be moved to a later heat.
