Herning Challenge is a voluntary association founded on July 24, 2025.

The association is democratically governed with a general meeting as the highest authority and an elected board.

The purpose of the association is to:

- Plan and run the annual exercise race Herning Challenge,

- Promote exercise, health and community through participation in exercise events.
